Grantees
UNITER project concentrates its efforts assisting the development of Ukrainian civil society in four main directions:
- Objective I supports national and local advocacy. The grants are designed to increase NGOs capacity to represent citizens' interests and drive reforms through more effective policy advocacy, monitoring, activism and promoting democratic reforms;
- Objective II contributes to enabling legislative environment. The grants are designed to support relevant legislative framework for civil society approaches European standards and assist CSOs efforts to propose legislative initiatives and build consensus for changes;
- Objective III engages with building organizational capacity. The grants are designed to support organizations receiving grants for local advocacy to meet their basic organizational capacity strengthening needs and provide advanced in-depth institutional strengthening assistance to key CSOs and networks improving management capacity and transparency as well as develop youth leadership in third sector;
- Objective IV carries out strengthening NGOs financial viability. The grants are designed to support civil society organizations becoming more financially sustainable and less dependent on foreign donors as well as fund and reward public private partnerships.
